The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale invites submissions from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for the supply, implementation and support of a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Library Management System (LMS). The Shire’s current LMS contract is scheduled to expire in 2027. Accordingly, the Shire is seeking to undertake a market approach for a contemporary LMS that will enable the Library to deliver services that respond to the evolving needs of the Serpentine Jarrahdale community and continue to provide a relevant, accessible and efficient service offering. The successful Tenderer will be able to demonstrate delivery of comparable LMS implementations for public libraries in Western Australia and demonstrate an understanding of contemporary public library service requirements at local, State and national levels. Tender Documents & Contract Requirements are available from the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale Tendering website For further details regarding this tender, please contact Procurement Services at tenders@sjshire.wa.gov.au Lodgement: Tenders can only be lodged using the E-Tendering website. All electronic submission files shall be clearly named with the Shires Tender Number as stated above and the Tenderers Name; and be lodged by the specified time and date. No late, telephoned, faxed, mailed, emailed or hand delivered tenders will be accepted. Paul Martin Chief Executive Officer
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
