Minor Pool Chemicals & Bulk Hypochlorite Supply and Delivery

Overview The City of Cockburn (the Principal) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced contractor for the supply and delivery of minor pool chemicals and bulk sodium hypochlorite. All services must be executed to the satisfaction of the Principal's Representative in strict accordance with the Contract, Specification, Schedule of Rates and any working instructions provided by the Principal's Representative from time to time. Purpose The objective of this Contract is to ensure Cockburn ARC is supplied with bulk liquid hypochlorite and other minor pool chemicals required to maintain the water bodies within the facility in accordance with the standards and requirements of the Code of Practice for the Design, Construction, Operation, Management and Maintenance of Aquatic Facilities (2024). Scope The scope includes: Supply and delivery of minor pool chemicals Supply and delivery of bulk sodium hypochlorite The Contract also includes provision for the Principal to negotiate the supply of additional goods and services during the Contract term where required. Such goods and services may include, but are not limited to: Servicing and calibration of pool testing equipment Supply of pool cleaning and maintenance equipment Specialist aquatic facility maintenance services Other related goods and services directly associated with the operation and maintenance of aquatic facilities Any additional goods and services shall be subject to agreement between the Principal and the Contractor and shall be provided in accordance with any agreed specification and pricing arrangements. Contract Terms and Conditions The Principal reserves the right to award a Contract to a sole Tenderer or multiple Tenderers where this is considered to provide the best value for money and the most advantageous outcome for the Principal The Contract may be awarded separately for either or both of the following categories: Minor Pool Chemicals, and Bulk Sodium Hypochlorite The proposed Contract(s) shall be in force for an initial Contract Term of three (3) years from the Date of Award The Principal may instigate options to extend for a subsequent one (1) year period, and up to an additional twelve (12) months after that, to a maximum Contract Term of five (5) years Contractor Requirements Tenderers are required to address all requirements as outlined in the request Tenderers must fully read and understand the Conditions provided in the Conditions of Responding and Tendering and in all documentation provided; failure to comply shall deem the submission non-compliant Compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2018, and the ability to provide a Modern Slavery Statement when requested, as required by the Act Instructions to Tenderers Under the PRIS Act 2024 and the City's Privacy Management Policy, the City has obligations in relation to how it collects, stores, uses and accesses personal information.
