About this tender
Overview The City of Cockburn is seeking a licensed and suitably experienced contractor to provide plumbing and gas services across its public buildings, properties and facilities at locations throughout the City of Cockburn. Purpose The intent of the contract is to ensure the Principal's plumbing, water supply, sanitary, drainage and gas infrastructure is maintained in a safe, compliant and reliable condition through timely repairs, scheduled maintenance and responsive emergency services. The contract is also intended to minimise disruption to building occupants, facility users and the public, support effective asset management, maintain accurate asset information, and deliver value for money through clear communication, quality workmanship and high standards of customer service. Scope The scope includes: Provision of plumbing and gas services across the Principal's public buildings, properties and facilities throughout the City of Cockburn Repairs, scheduled maintenance and responsive emergency services to plumbing, water supply, sanitary, drainage and gas infrastructure Supply of all labour, tools, instruments, plant and equipment, materials, chemicals, transport, supervision, administration, surveying and travel required to deliver the services A full statement of services required under the proposed contract appears in the Specification. Contractor Requirements Licensed and suitably experienced in plumbing and gas services Contract Terms and Conditions Contract term of three (3) years from the date of contract award Principal-instigated option to extend for a one (1) year period and up to a further twelve (12) months, to a maximum of five (5) years Contract expected to commence in November 2026 Tender Briefing Attendance at this tender briefing is mandatory. Failure to attend will render the tenderer ineligible to submit a tender. Date: Wednesday, 19 August 2026 Time: 10:30 am to 11:30 am (AWST) Location: Success Regional Sport & Community Facility, Function Room, 359 Hammond Road, Success WA The briefing will provide tenderers with the opportunity to clarify any uncertainties with the Principal prior to the closing of the tender. All attendees will be required to sign an acknowledgement register of attendance.
