As part of the renewal of our training services provider panel, we're seeking to better understand innovative training approaches, technologies, and delivery models that could enhance the way we develop the skills and capability of our workforce. We invite organisations to share insights, concepts, and proposals that demonstrate how training for technical and operational workforces can evolve and be delivered to our employees and contractors. This Request For Information (RFI) relates to training services for the Electricity Supply Industry (ESI), including safety-critical and related safety training for technical and operational workforces. Responses are welcomed from organisations interested in presenting a combination of traditional and innovative technologies, and delivery models that support the safe, reliable, and future-focused operation of Western Power’s electricity network. Submission deadline 10 July 2026, 5.00PM (AWST) Registration requirements Access the EOI information through the Opportunities Hub. New users will need to register before proceeding. Review the documentation and complete the relevant sections of the EOI workbook for your offer. Further instructions are contained within the event. Next steps We'll review and evaluate the responses received against the scope requirements after the closing date. Please note: submitting a response for the opportunity does not guarantee that you will be invited to participate in a subsequent market event or become a supplier of Western Power.
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
