RFT Subi Blooms 2027 & Beyond
Tender Overview
About this tender
Subi Blooms is an annual event delivered by the City of Subiacos destination marketing brand, See Subiaco. The core event features a collection of large-scale floral arrangements by some of Perths best florists placed throughout the Subiaco Town Centre in celebration of Mothers Day weekend attracting over 35,000 visitors to the City of Subiaco. Running for three days from Friday to Sunday during Mothers Day weekend (second Sunday of May). Following the event weekend, on Monday, installations are decommissioned and remaining flowers still in good condition are repurposed into bouquets and gifted to new and expectant mothers at a local hospital. Local businesses are also invited to get involved in the activation by decorating their facades and providing Mothers Day offers and special events during the weekend aligned to the festival. The 2026 event was the biggest and most expansive to date, involving a trail of 18 floral installations each at varying scales, an ephemeral art installation, a community hub, increased business engagement and event sponsorship. A key component of the 2026 event was the addition of an ephemeral art installation for a period of four weeks, extending the three-day festival. An ephemeral art installation is planned for 2027 with a separate quotation to secure a suitable supplier for this component of the event. The City of Subiaco is seeking a suitably qualified contractor to deliver the Subi Blooms 2027 event and beyond. Consultants wishing to submit collaborative partnerships that comprise Western Australian and /or national team / contractors are encouraged to apply. Tenderers also wishing to challenge the brief and submit an alternate proposal are encouraged to apply.
