Tender for the Lease of a Portion of Rylington Park Farm

Overview In accordance with Section 3.58 of the Local Government Act 1995, the Shire of Boyup Brook is advertising its intention to dispose of, through public tender, a portion of Rylington Park Farm by way of lease. The Shire invites tenders from suitably experienced, structured and financially capable parties for the lease of a portion of the property for the purpose of primary production. About Tenderers are expected to demonstrate how their proposed operations align with the objectives of the Charter of Rylington Park Institute for Agricultural Training and Research (Charter), which is attached as Appendix D, and to support the ongoing management and strategic purpose of the property. Scope Lease of a portion of Rylington Park Farm (Lease Area) for the purpose of primary production Contractor Requirements The Shire is seeking a lessee who can demonstrate: Relevant agricultural experience and capability Financial capacity to undertake and sustain farming operations Structurally sound and effective management / organisational characteristics Sound land stewardship and farm management practices Compliance with applicable legislative and biosecurity requirements A commitment to maintaining and enhancing the long-term productivity, condition and value of Rylington Park Alignment of proposed operations with the objectives of the Charter of Rylington Park Institute for Agricultural Training and Research (Appendix D) and support for the ongoing management and strategic purpose of the property Instructions to Tenderers The tender document and any other associated documentation are available by contacting the Shire at tenders@boyupbrook.wa.gov.au. Tenders may only be lodged electronically, by email to tenders@boyupbrook.wa.gov.au, or hand delivered and placed in the Tender Box located at the Administration Office, 55 Abel Street, Boyup Brook. No late, faxed or mailed tenders will be accepted. Any respondent found to have canvassed Shire of Boyup Brook officers or Elected Members will be disqualified from the tender process.
