The Lotteries Commission (Lotterywest) engages a wide range of third-party vendors including service providers to support its ICT and digital operations, many of which require access to systems, data or business-critical services. To support effective governance and oversight of vendor-related security and operational risks, Lotterywest is seeking to procure a Vendor Risk Management solution. The solution will enable a structured, auditable, and risk-based approach to managing third-party vendor risk across the vendor lifecycle, with improved automation and reporting capabilities. Scope: The Respondent must propose a VRM solution that is deployed and hosted either within Lotterywest’s cloud environment or as a vendor-hosted cloud solution within Australia, and must provide all services necessary to deliver the solution, including: a) Provision of VRM software, software licences and subscription services (where applicable) b) Hosting services (where vendor-hosted solutions are proposed) c) Installation and configuration of the solution d) Integration with Lotterywest’s existing systems e) Testing, deployment and commissioning to ensure operational readiness f) Training for Lotterywest administrators and users g) Provision of user and technical documentation h) Ongoing technical support, software maintenance, updates and upgrades Lotterywest will retain responsibility for day-to-day operational use and administration of the solution. A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
