Western Australia Fire and Emergency Services Conference Delegate Services Management
Tender Overview
About this tender
DFES holds an annual WAFES Conference (the Conference) and Awards Dinner (the Awards). The Conference is an annual two (2) day event held every September on a Friday and Saturday. The Conference brings together approximately 700 delegates from across WA and provides an opportunity for DFES to demonstrate new and emerging technologies and operational changes, as well as highlight current and future issues and trends affecting emergency management. The delegates include DFES personnel, volunteers from the Bush Fire Service, State Emergency Service, Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service, Marine Rescue Service, and Volunteer Fire and Emergency Services. The two (2) day event includes a diverse program of activities, including approximately 10 tours of DFES facilities (operational and workshops facilities), a welcome sundowner, and a conference program with multiple integrated education streams. The Conference concludes with the Awards on the second day, attended by a further 100 invited guests. DFES require a suitably experienced organisation to manage delegate services and registrations for the Conference, including, but not limited to, managing delegate registrations and enquires, booking of travel and accommodation, distribute event information including electronic tickets for the Awards, and provide onsite personnel for the duration of the Conference. How to respond to this tender
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Read the requirements in full
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Confirm you are eligible and it is worth bidding
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Answer every criterion with evidence
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Lodge early through the official portal
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
