This Tender is invited by the Issuer. Overview The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing is seeking to engage One (including Merit List) SFIA 4 Senior Performance Tester. The role leads performance testing activities across complex business systems, applications and integrations. The Role The role works under general direction with considerable autonomy, providing specialist performance testing advice, supporting and guiding others, and contributing expertise to achieve project and team objectives. The role includes: Planning, estimating, designing, executing and reviewing performance testing activities to assess system behaviour against agreed workload, scalability, reliability and response-time expectations Analysing non-functional requirements and defining performance test approaches Preparing workload models Creating and maintaining performance test scripts Coordinating test data and environments Executing performance tests and analysing results Managing defects and risks Supporting CI/CD pipeline integration for automated performance testing Providing evidence-based recommendations Communicating complex technical findings clearly to technical, project and business stakeholders Supporting continuous improvement of performance testing practices Ensuring testing artefacts are maintained in accordance with departmental standards, quality processes and recordkeeping requirements Enquiries Buyer contact: itd.labour.hire.services@health.gov.au
