Randwick City Council invites tenders for the Lease and Operation of Snape Park Tennis. It is envisaged that the successful tenderer will be able to demonstrate a background in a successful management of a sporting facility or a commercial facility or venture supported by strong financial and community management skills. Randwick City Council is seeking suitable applicants to manage the tennis facility to service the wider community and attract new participation to the site through quality programming, community and school partnership and casual court usage. The venue includes a club room, pro-shop/kiosk and office which can be used to service limited food and beverages offering to create a positive social environment. Randwick Council proposes to enter into a management and maintenance agreement for Snape Park Tennis Centre for a period of five (5) years, with a five (5) year option. The Snape Park Tennis Centre is located on the northern edge of Snape Park. Snape Park Tennis is bound by Snape Street and Hannan Street, Maroubra. The land zoned for Public Recreation is owned and managed by Randwick City Council.
