100188.3 - Water and Sewer General Works Delivery Panel MidCoast Council is seeking Tenders for the engagement of suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to establish a Water and Sewer General Works Delivery Panel. The panels will be broken into two categories: • W&S General Works - Construct Only • W&S General Works - Design and Construction. Tenderers may apply and be selected for one or both panels. If you nominate the Design and Construction panel you must also include Construction only or alternatively you can nominate Construction only. The term of the contract is for 4 years with 2 x 1 year extension options at Council’s discretion and dependent on the performance of the Contractor. The scope of works to be performed under the panels are related to water and sewer infrastructure and civil and mechanical disciplines, including: • Water mains construction (All Diameters) • Sewer gravity and rising main constructions (All Diameters) • Concrete works including pit construction, manhole pre-cast and in-situ and remedial works • Sewer pump station including new construction and refurbishments • Water pump station including new construction and refurbishments • Sewer treatment plant augmentation and refurbishments • Water treatment plant augmentation and refurbishments • Replacement of large valves • Sewer junction installations • Conduit and pit installation • Physical location of services • Disinfection of water mains (non-live) The Tenderer must identify Panel type for this submission. If applying for both then two separate submissions are required, one for each type of panel - Construction Only - Design and Construction Only - Both.
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
