PROC16647. Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessment Report & Impact Permit submission - Lachlan Valley NP (Hunthawang). Preparation of an Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessment Report (ACHAR) and associated Aboriginal Heritage Impact Permit (AHIP) application for proposed works within the Lachlan Valley National Park. NPWS has undertaken an Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Due Diligence (DD) scoping exercise, which indicated a high density of Aboriginal cultural heritage in Hunthawang Precinct. The precinct suffered severe flooding in recent years, which has impacted many assets across the reserve – ranging from fire trails, boundary fencing and buildings. The reserve also requires assessment for future recreational use, including formalised camping grounds, day use areas and other related infrastructure. The successful tenderer will deliver all services required to produce a compliant ACHAR and AHIP application. This includes consultation, desktop assessment, fieldwork, analysis, mapping, and reporting.
