T00256 - Grose Vale Road Embankment Stabilisation Work A realistic and achievable construction program must be submitted as part of the tender, reflecting the Contractor’s available resources, capacity, and methodology. The program shall clearly identify the proposed start and completion dates for all key activities and project milestones. The Contractor shall make adequate allowance for inclement weather, with a minimum provision of three (3) days per month included within the program. Where delays are directly attributable to inclement weather, an Extension of Time (EOT) will be granted at no additional cost to the Principal. Full road closure will not be permitted under any circumstances. All works must be planned and executed under controlled partial lane closures, ensuring traffic is maintained at all times in accordance with the approved traffic management plan. The work is awarded for the contract work on a lump sum fixed price and schedule of rates basis in accordance with the fixed lump sum provisions, not subject to Rise and Fall costs in the tender pricing schedules herein. Force majeure clauses DO NOT apply to this Contract. A more detailed brief of the extent of goods /services required by Council is set out in Section C - Specification of this tender document. Scope of works: - Site Clearing following the REF - Earthworks in excavation - Installation of subsoil drainage - Construction of sandstone retaining wall - Supply and installation of soil nails and shotcrete - Stormwater work - Pavement work - Provision of all environmental, safety, quality, and traffic management as per the requirements of the contract.
