ITT571 - Belmore Park - Richie Benaud Oval Upgrade Tenders are invited from experienced civil and landscaping contractors to deliver a multi-use sportsfield and associated infrastructure predominately focused on Premier Class Cricket at Belmore Park, Richie Benaud Oval, 1A Pennant Hills Road, North Parramatta. The scope of works includes Main Scope of Works and Optional Works: The Main Scope of Work includes: • Demolition of existing park infrastructure and softworks • Site soil testing, site contamination management and remediation works • Bulk earthwork • Civil works including new drainage infrastructure, pavements and extensive tiered concrete and sandstone retaining walling • Cricket sight screens, park furniture, and signage • Minor carpark upgrade works along Castle Street • New premier sportsfield with new soil profile, drainage, inground water storage tank, irrigation, six natural turf cricket wickets and turfing • New sportsfield flood lighting and lighting control systems • New semi-permanent amenities building • Temporary storage containers • New building for electrical MSB and irrigation infrastructure • New and upgraded Endeavour Energy including Level 1 & Level 2 ASP works • Works on Sydney Water assets • Upgrade to park service utilities and connections • Associated landscape works and maintenance works The Optional Work includes: • Optional Works A – LED screen / scoreboard and associated works; • Optional Works B – Curator’s and public amenities building and associated work; • Optional Works C – Cricket practice nets, storage cage, synthetic pitches, softworks, furniture, electrical, lighting infrastructure and associated work; • Optional Works D – Concrete circuit pathway, furniture, planting and associated work. Note: The Optional Works are to be priced separately, and it will be at Council’s absolute discretion to determine whether to proceed with any of these Optional Works or otherwise. Tenderers must have ISO Certified Systems for Work Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and Management and Environmental Management to be considered for this tender. ISO certification is to be issued by a certification body accredited by JAS-ANZ (Joint accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand) or an International Accreditation Forum (IAF). It’s Council intention that a final decision will be made regarding this Tender in September 2026, with works anticipated to commence in October 2026. The Tender price is for a fixed lump sum.
