5101 - Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) for Microsoft Licenced Products Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and authorised Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) partners to provide pricing, supply, administration, and support for Microsoft licensing under the CSP model for a 3-year period. The purpose of this process is to evaluate the suitability of the CSP model for Ballina Shire Council’s Microsoft licensing requirements, including pricing, flexibility, service responsiveness, administrative capability, and support for ongoing subscription management. The objectives of this tender are to: • obtain competitive CSP pricing for Ballina Shire Council’s Microsoft licensing requirements. • assess respondent capability to provide Microsoft licensing supply, administration, and advisory services under the CSP model. • confirm available subscription terms, billing options, renewal settings, and product eligibility under CSP / New Commerce. • establish the commercial, operational, and support arrangements that would apply if Ballina Shire Council proceeds under the CSP model and • determine whether a CSP arrangement provides the most suitable licensing and commercial outcome for Ballina Shire Council. Under Microsoft’s CSP / New Commerce model, term duration and billing frequency are distinct settings, and availability can vary by offer and SKU accordingly, respondents must clearly identify what term and billing options are available for each product proposed.
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.

Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
