About this tender

The Australian Bushland Program represented by the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (department) is inviting expressions of interest from potential Purchasing Partners for Strategic Property Purchases. Purchasing Partners will propose suitable properties for protection, and upon approval from the department, will secure and own each approved property until at least legal protection is effected or achieved. Purchasing Partners will put in place arrangements to manage the properties in perpetuity for conservation purposes. It is expected that multiple Purchasing Partners will be appointed. This REOI is the first stage of a multi-stage procurement process (Procurement). Respondents must submit a Response to this REOI in order to be shortlisted for participation in any future Request for Tender (RFT) stage. Other Instructions: Conditions for Participation: (i) the Respondent exists as a legal entity; (ii) the Respondent is compliant with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012, where applicable and as evidenced by a letter of compliance issued by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency; and (iii) the Respondent has not been subject to any judicial decisions against it (excluding decisions under appeal) relating to employee entitlements and for which it has not satisfied any resulting order.
