Overview The Federation Council Community Grants Program is an initiative aiming to empower groups to develop ideas, projects and events that contribute to the vibrancy and connected community of Federation Council. Funding The Federation Council 2026/2027 Community Grants Program opens for applications on Monday 24 August 2026, with funds available to help local community groups, organisations and clubs deliver a range of community projects and events. Funding pool: $40,000 Maximum grant per applicant: $5,000 Eligibility Not-for-profit groups and organisations are encouraged to apply for a share of the funding How to Apply Applications are required to be submitted via the online form available from the bottom of the program page. Applications open: Monday 24 August 2026 Applications close: Friday 23 October 2026 Applicants should download and review the guidelines document (PDF, 588KB), which can assist with ensuring applications and initiatives are eligible for funding. Local clubs and organisations are encouraged to register for the Federation Council Grant Finder, a free database that tracks regional funding opportunities to help groups identify future funding opportunities. Project Acquittals Recipients who have successfully completed a grant-funded project must submit a final report using the acquittal process.
