Orange City Council is seeking a suitably qualified Contractor for the Construction of the East Orange Harvesting Wetland. Works include bulk and detailed earthworks, hydraulic structures including control weirs and overflow, electrical works and landscaping. The project will delivery additional stormwater harvesting capacity, improve water security and create a significant environmental asset for the orange community. A mandatory pre-tender meeting including a site inspection is scheduled to take place at 1:00 PM Wednesday 15 July 2026. Please contact the nominated officer in Part 1 of the Request for Tender document to register your attendance. Council cannot and will not negotiate with respect to the terms of the Contract, including suggested changes submitted as part of a Tender, after a Tender is accepted. If the Tenderer wishes to vary the terms of the contract for Council's consideration when assessing the Tender, the Tenderer MUST, using Tender Submission Form 'Statement of Conformance' Tick the box 'No' (tender does not conform); Detail on the form the existing contract clause(s)proposed to be amended and the proposed replacement clauses.
