The refurbishment and enhancement of the existing Revesby Police Station, including refurbishment of internal spaces, extension of the Level 1 slab under GC21 D&C Contract. Project goals The overall objective of this project is to revitalise Revesby Station, which was originally established in 1953 making it a 73 year old building. Since 1953, the station has had various additions and remodeling works. The station services 12 staff (employees or police officers) at any given time. There is no intended increase in capacity as a result of this refurbishment. The boundary line along Sphinx Avenue will be realigned closer to the station with Council’s intersection works. Subsequently, council will be providing NSWPF with replacement parking spaces in Lot 125 to the east of the site as part of a land swap where Lots 123 and 125 will be transferred to NSW Police Force to amalgamate with the current lot the police station is on which is Lot 139. The work involves demolition of the existing southeast extension, and introducing a new meals and equipment storeroom on ground level. To level one above, the slab will be extended to the southern boundary to create new meeting rooms and amenities. Scope The project involves the refurbishment and enhancement of the existing Revesby Police Station, including: Refurbishment of internal spaces Extension of the Level 1 slab Demolition of south-east extension and rebuild with elevated Floor Level to comply with Flood requirements Re-skinning of the building façade Waterproofing remediation to address existing water ingress issues Partial upgrade of building services (retaining compliant existing systems where possible) Coordination with adjacent road realignment works being undertaken by Canterbury Bankstown Council Additional details/instructions: The Tenderer must attend a mandatory RFT briefing at the station on Thursday 25th June 2026 at 1pm.
