CSNSW Funded Partnership Initiative (FPI) - Initial Transitional Support (ITS)
Tender Overview
About this tender
Overview DCJ intends to partner with suitable non-government organisations to deliver post-release support services to individuals recently released from custody and on community orders, under the CSNSW Funded Partnership Initiative (FPI) Initial Transitional Support (ITS) program. Purpose The FPI supports CSNSW's strategic priorities to reduce reoffending, promote rehabilitation and reintegration, and enhance community safety. The ITS program recognises that the period immediately following release from custody is a critical time for intervention. By targeting services at the point where they can have the most impact and connecting participants with community-based services, ITS helps address barriers to reintegration and supports long-term reductions in reoffending. ITS provides post-release support to individuals who frequently have complex support needs and experience barriers linked to offending behaviour. Objectives Delivering innovative intervention services Increasing program participation and completion Enhancing access to community services Improving community safety Scope The scope includes: Enhancing effective case management for offenders transitioning from custody to the community through delivery of evidence-based interventions that address the risk of reoffending Providing targeted support during the critical post-release period, aligned with each participant's individual case plan Delivering up to 12 weeks of post-release support focused on stabilisation, reintegration, and reducing criminogenic risk factors Working closely with participants to facilitate access to appropriate mainstream community services addressing identified criminogenic needs, including housing, employment, health, education, and social support Strengthening participants' capacity to successfully reintegrate into the community through coordinated interventions Instructions to Tenderers This tender opportunity can only be accessed and responded to via the Department's end to end procurement system, Procurement Central. How to respond to this tender
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Read the requirements in full
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Confirm you are eligible and it is worth bidding
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Answer every criterion with evidence
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Lodge early through the official portal
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
