Dapto South Facing Ramps - Market Interaction Process (MIP)

Overview Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is undertaking a Market Interaction Process (MIP) for the Dapto South Facing Ramps project and is seeking industry feedback to inform the delivery and procurement approach for the project. About The project aims to install a new northbound exit ramp on the western side of the M1 Princes Motorway, connecting to Fowlers Road through a new signalised intersection. The project also includes installation of a new signalised intersection, a new southbound entry ramp from Fowlers Road to the M1 Princes Motorway, and upgrades, widening and reconfiguration of the existing southbound exit ramp. Active transport enhancements, including a new three-metre-wide bridge over the M1 Princes Motorway and a shared path, will also be constructed. Purpose The project is intended to deliver greater connectivity between Dapto, South Illawarra and Shoalhaven; improve place and road amenities for motorists, pedestrians and cyclists; reduce the frequency and severity of road incidents within proximity; and improve network and operational resilience for freight. Objectives The MIP will generate insight on the proposed project scope, seek feedback on the risks associated with the proposed project scope, and gather current industry pain points relating to supply, labour and materials. Scope The scope includes: Providing industry feedback on potential procurement and delivery strategies for the Dapto South Facing Ramps project Providing feedback on risks associated with the proposed project scope Providing information on current industry pain points relating to supply, labour and materials Submitting a response to the MIP questionnaire following review of materials in the secure data room Tender Briefing An online industry briefing will be held for this opportunity. Date: Monday 12 October 2026 Time: 11am Format: Virtual briefing To register for this MIP, a Confidentiality Deed Poll must be completed and approved prior to the session. The attached form must be completed and submitted to DaptoRamps@transport.nsw.gov.au. Following the briefing, approved participants will be given access to a secure data room to review relevant materials and submit a response to the MIP questionnaire by 5pm 21 October 2026.
