The works are to be carried out in accordance with Section E – Specifications and include undertaking Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) investigations within nominated areas of each cemetery. The works are to include: • Supply of all labour, plant and equipment required to undertake GPR surveys. • Completion of GPR scanning to identify and map subsurface anomalies consistent with potential burial sites, coffin remains, voids, or any other unnatural disturbances. • Detection and reporting of subsurface features to a minimum depth of 2.1 metres (or greater where achievable), including identification of any constraints affecting depth penetration. • Provision of accurate spatial data for all identified anomalies, including GPS coordinates (using WGS84 geocentric datum) and integration with Council Intramap Spatial Data Software. • Marking or delineation of identified anomalies on site to assist with interpretation and future burial planning. NOTE: Due to possibility of existing grave sites minimal to no ground disturbance is to be carried out. • Provision of a comprehensive report at the completion of the program, including survey methodology and equipment used, plans/maps showing surveyed areas and identified anomalies, interpretation of findings, including confidence levels of any findings. • The proposed equipment, methodology, data outputs, and reporting format are to be submitted to Council for approval prior to commencement of works.
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
