The Building Consultants will deliver services that are part of the core deliverables for the HBCF claims handling process, by assessing claims and report the findings of their inspections. Project goals icare’s Home Building Compensation Fund (HBCF) requires a panel of building consultants that can be used to undertake inspections of claimant’s homes, complete claim assessments including a detailed assessment report outlining both accepted and denied items, prepare detailed scope of works in an approved format provided by icare HBCF, review tenders and provide a recommendation which will be used as a basis for claim settlement. Scope Provide detailed reports, which will consist of an Assessment Report, Inspection Summary and a Conclusions Report that addresses all items (foreseen and unforeseen) raised by the claimant, being the loss of deposit, non-commencement, non-completion and defects (major and general). Additional details/instructions An optional virtual market briefing will be held for Respondents on the 15th of June at 10am AEST and attendance must be confirmed via email.
