About this tender
Scope: The Principal is seeking Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for the supply of Services required for the Project. This RFT outlines the details to be provided by Tenderers and sets out the requirements and conditions for the Tender. This RFT includes the documents which will form the basis of the Contract under which the successful Tenderer will be engaged. Project: The Project involves upgrade design for electrical system and providing professional services while upgrading the electrical system associated with the Twin Bridges over the entrance to Lake Macquarie at Swansea, on State Highway 10 (Pacific Highway), in the City of Lake Macquarie, New South Wales Opportunity requirements Tenderers are invited to submit tenders for the provision of Professional Electrical Engineering Services for Swansea Bridge. The services are required to support the upgrade of the existing electrical system, which is outdated and no longer compliant with current electrical standards, as identified through a recent Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA). The project will be delivered in two stages: design and implementation. This engagement covers the design works and technical support during the implementation phase, including supply and installation activities. This an open tender. The Mandatory Tenderer Meeting will be held on site on 16 July 2026 at 9:30 AM. Attendance is compulsory. If there are any changes to the date, this advertisement will be updated at least one week in advance Attendance in person at the pre-tender briefing and site inspection is mandatory Prior to visiting the site, all attendees must complete the Swansea Bridge Visitor Induction via the following link: Swansea Bridge Visitor’s Induction A maximum of two representatives from each Tenderer (not each member of a Tenderer) may attend the pre-tender briefing and site inspection. All tenderers must comply with the Transport Statement of Business Ethics through the procurement process and any subsequent contract period. All tenderers must comply with the NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework, NSW Government Supplier Code of Conduct and New South Wales Industrial Relations Guidelines: Building and Construction Procurement.
