Integrated Carer Support Service: Carer Gateway Service Providers (CGSPs)

The purpose of this grant opportunity is to select a network of providers to deliver supports and services for unpaid carers across 19 Carer Gateway service areas. Only one provider will be selected per service area, however providers may apply for, and be selected for multiple service areas. Services offered include support planning, counselling, coaching, training, peer support, tailored support packages, referrals to access planned and emergency respite, navigation assistance with mainstream services and information and advice. Services will be prioritised and delivered, based on the needs of carers. Successful providers must deliver all the service types listed, however there is flexibility in delivery models and how much funding is applied to each service. Providers will monitor demand in the service area and configure services and allocate resources to maximise outcomes based on to carers’ needs within the service area. It is expected that service delivery will change over time in response to changes in demand, and as new support options and approaches emerge. Providers are to establish and maintain outreach activities, and link to social, health, education, community and cultural groups, to better understand carer cohorts in the service area, including (but not limited to) those in regional, rural and remote locations and the specific carer cohorts identified in the National Carer Strategy 2024-2034 and National Carer Strategy Action Plan 2024-2027. Eligibility: To be eligible you must be one of the following entity types: • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Corporation registered under the Corporations (Aboriginal and /or Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006 • Company • Corporate Commonwealth Entity • Non-Corporate Commonwealth Statutory Authority • Corporate State or Territory Entity • Non-corporate State or Territory Entity • Non-corporate State or Territory Statutory Authority • Local Government • Cooperative • Incorporated Association • Statutory Entity • Partnership • Unincorporated Association. If you are applying as a Trustee on behalf of a Trust, the Trustee must have an eligible entity type as listed above. Applications from consortia are acceptable, providing there is a lead organisation that is solely accountable to the Commonwealth for the delivery of grant activities and is an eligible entity as per the list above. Only the lead organisation can submit the application form and enter into a grant agreement with the Commonwealth. Eligible organisations can form a consortium with ineligible organisations, with the exception of those organisations deemed ineligible because they are included on the National Redress Scheme’s website on the list of ‘Institutions that have not joined or signified their intent to join the Scheme’, included on the non-compliant organisations list on the Workplace Gender Equality Agency website, or subject to a banning order that is in force under section 73ZN of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 (NDIS Act).
