About this tender
This Tender is invited by the Issuer. The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC; buyer) has a requirement for continued support and maintenance of the Australian Firearms Information Network (AFIN) and the National Firearms Identification Network (NFID) systems. These national firearm systems are integrated nationally with police and Commonwealth partners and are used by front line police officers to ensure public safety. The preferred seller will also be required to deliver technical uplift enhancements to the AFIN and NFID systems to meet National Firearms Register (NFR) Program objectives. The NFR Program is a 4-year Australian initiative (1 July 2024 – mid-2028) to establish a centralised system to link state and territory firearm records. Uplifting the AFIN and NFID systems is one of the deliverables of the NFR Program. Refer Attachment A (Statement of Requirements) for the full scope of work.
