Overview Albury City Council is seeking a contractor to carry out the Nexus Electrical Supply Upgrade, comprising a new 22kV electrical supply originating from the Essential Energy Union Road zone substation, together with all associated activities necessary to complete the works as detailed in the Contract Documents. Scope The scope includes: Installation of a new 22kV electrical supply originating from the Essential Energy Union Road zone substation Installation of the new supply in continuous heavy-duty conduit, using underbore and open trench construction methods as specified Delivery of cable types, conduit installation depths, and inclusion of spare conduits in accordance with the Certified Design Cable and conduit joins, pits and terminations All testing, energisation and verification under Essential Energy procedures Provision of all materials, labour, plant, cranage, equipment, access equipment, tools, supervision, overheads, administration, insurances, taxes, wages, accommodation, transport, allowances, site allowances, consumables, testing services and any other incidental costs necessary to carry out the works in compliance with the contract documentation Contractor Requirements All works must adhere to the certified designs, as approved by Essential Energy and endorsed by AlburyCity Alterations to the certified design must be submitted in writing to AlburyCity for approval prior to commencement, with the Contractor providing clear detailed reasoning for the change and obtaining certification from Essential Energy, and if required, a certified level 3 designer
