Playground Audit 2026

Overview Cumberland City Council is seeking submissions from an appropriately qualified and experienced playground company to undertake an annual report of Council's playground assets. Purpose The purpose of this contract is to undertake annual comprehensive safety inspections of Council playgrounds to assess compliance with the relevant Australian Standards and identify defects, hazards, maintenance requirements, and asset renewal needs. The inspections are intended to support Council's risk management obligations, maintenance planning, asset management programs, and ongoing provision of safe and accessible playground facilities for the community. Scope The scope includes: Undertaking annual comprehensive safety inspections of Council playgrounds Assessing compliance with the relevant Australian Standards Identifying defects, hazards, maintenance requirements, and asset renewal needs Contractor Requirements Appropriately qualified and experienced as a playground company Contract Terms and Conditions Contract Type: Minor Service Agreement Contract Term: One year The work is awarded on a lump sum fixed price basis in accordance with the fixed lump sum provisions in the tender pricing schedules Tender Briefing No pre-tender site briefing is required for this opportunity.
