Council requires suitably qualified and experienced contractors to perform electrical, plumbing and concreting services within the Gilgandra Local Government Area. Council owns and operates a number of facilities and infrastructure assets throughout the Shire and is required from time to time to engage qualified and appropriately licensed Service Providers to undertake maintenance, repairs, renewals, emergency works and capital improvement projects. The proposed works include, but are not limited to: Electrical works relating to buildings, open space facilities, water and wastewater infrastructure and associated systems, Plumbing works involving maintenance, additions and repairs to Council buildings, facilities and water and sewer infrastructure and Concreting works associated with kerb and gutter, masonry, footpaths, culverts and other civil infrastructure. The works may also include associated civil works and may require integration with Council's operational teams. Facilities and infrastructure may include, but are not limited to: Water and wastewater treatment plants and associated reticulation infrastructure (including pumps, PLCs, telemetry systems and switchboards); Cooee Lodge Aged Care Hostel and independent living units; Jack Towney Hostel; Orana Living disability housing; Works depots; Administration buildings; Cooee Heritage and Visitor Information Centre; GIL Library Hub; Sporting and recreational facilities; Council-owned residential, commercial and industrial facilities; and Civil infrastructure assets throughout the Shire.
