Provision of the Corrimal Tourist Park Playground Renewal

Overview Wollongong City Council is seeking an experienced contractor to provide design and construct services for the renewal of the playground at Corrimal Tourist Park. Objectives The objectives of this project are to: Provide a contemporary district level playground experience for enjoyment of tourist park visitors in line with other holiday parks Attract more tourists with children and encourage longer stays, in line with operational objectives Improve access and the amenity and experience of children and adults/carers by integrating new path, seating and shade Consider future improvements required to create an improved recreation precinct and support for tourist park operations Consider risk and ongoing maintenance responsibilities of Council Scope The scope includes: Design and construction services to replace the current playground with new equipment and play offerings Installation of new surfacing Provision of short path seating Provision of a shade solution Instructions to Tenderers Contractors are invited to provide a minimum of 2 options for consideration by Council.
