Overview Coffs Harbour City Council is seeking tenders from operators of appropriately licenced Food Organics & Garden Organics (FOGO) facilities who are able to work with the City to provide receival, haul and processing services for the City's FOGO materials. About Coffs Harbour is positioned halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. It is a thriving regional coastal city of approximately 73,000 people and enjoys a unique lifestyle created by its geography and climate. Nestled between the coastal slopes of the Great Dividing Range and the 80 kilometres of golden beaches that form its boundaries, Coffs Harbour has gained a reputation as a dynamic and rapidly expanding economic hub. Purpose This Request for Tenders (RFT) is intended to provide potential respondents with information relevant to this opportunity and confirms the City's intentions to enter into a formal contractual agreement in line with the RFT documents, with one or more service providers, with final conditions to be negotiated between parties post close of the Tender period. Scope The scope includes: Receival, haul and processing services for the City's FOGO materials Processing of FOGO commencing circa 6 March 2027 (Phase 1) Receive, haul and processing of FOGO commencing circa 1 July 2027 (Phase 2) Opportunity for earlier commencement of services may also be available. Contractor Requirements Respondents must operate an appropriately licenced Food Organics & Garden Organics (FOGO) facility Contract Terms and Conditions The intended term of this non-guaranteed supply contract is approximately 2.25 years, with an optional 1 year extension Tender Briefing and Site Inspection Respondents are required to attend a mandatory Site Briefing. Location: 31 Englands Road, Coffs Harbour NSW Time: Approximately 9:30am Requirements for registering to attend will be confirmed via the online forum.
