About this tender
Overview Wingecarribee Shire Council is seeking quotations from appropriately qualified and experienced contractors for the environmentally responsible collection and recycling of tyres from Moss Vale, NSW. About Council is seeking quotations for the environmentally responsible collection of tyres from the Resource Recovery Centre in Moss Vale, NSW, including transport, recycling, and disposal in accordance with applicable environmental legislation and waste management policies. A more detailed brief of the extent of services required by Council is set out in Volume 1, Specification, which is included as part of the Request for Quotation documentation. Scope The scope includes: Collection of waste tyres from nominated sites, including the Resource Recovery Centre at 177 Berrima Road, Moss Vale, NSW, where tyres are dropped off by residents or local businesses Collection of tyres within one week of booking confirmation, to prevent tyres accumulating at Council's facilities and ensure safe and efficient site operations Transport of tyres to an appropriately licensed facility for recycling Recycling or recovery of tyres in accordance with NSW environmental legislation Provision of documentation demonstrating lawful disposal and recycling Prevention of illegal stockpiling or disposal of waste tyres Recording of all tyre movements in the NSW EPA WasteLocate portal Completion of the above in accordance with the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997, the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2025, and the NSW EPA Asbestos and Waste Tyres Guidelines Contractor Requirements Appropriately qualified and experienced in the collection and recycling of tyres Instructions to Tenderers In accordance with Council Policy and Guidelines, Council invites quotations in accordance with the Invitation and the following accompanying documents: Volume 1, Specification Volume 2, Response Schedules Volume 3, Conditions of Contract Any published Addenda Enquiries Contact: Kristian Draxl Email: procurement@wsc.nsw.gov.au Phone: 1300 680 888
