About this tender
Overview Tweed Shire Council is seeking a contractor to provide recovered concrete processing services under this Approach To Market. Scope The scope includes: Crushing and processing an estimated 10,000 tonnes of concrete rubble annually, containing concrete, steel, plastic, wood, sand and gravels Processing of all material on site at the time of processing, noting the annual tonnage is an estimate only Ensuring processed materials comply with the requirements of the NSW Office of Environment, Climate Change & Water document, Specification for Supply of Recycled Material for Pavements, Earthworks and Drainage, to allow Tweed Shire Council to use, market or sell the products for the purposes intended by that document Removal of contaminants from the processed material as much as possible, including steel Contract Terms and Conditions The contract is proposed for a term of 3 years, with 2 x 12 month optional extensions The total contract term, including optional extensions, is estimated at 5 years
