Sewer Main Relining Package

Overview Wingecarribee Shire Council is seeking Tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced Contractors to reline and renew approximately 1830m of existing sewer mains at six (6) site locations in Moss Vale, Bowral and Mittagong, NSW. About Wingecarribee Shire Council operates and manages a wastewater network totalling over 650km in servicing length. In managing its network, Council operates a Sewer Upgrade and Renewal Program targeting aging or poor condition infrastructure requiring renewal, upgrade or extensions to the system to improve service performance and mitigate asset risks. As part of this program, a condition assessment was undertaken for sewer mains with known infiltration and inflow issues or with signs of deterioration. The assessments identified multiple sections of sewer mains showing significant deterioration which have been identified for renewal in the Sewer Main Relining Package. Purpose The project specifically requires the renewal and relining of approximately 1830m of existing sewer main at six (6) site locations in Moss Vale, Bowral and Mittagong. Renewal of the sewer mains will restore the structural integrity of the pipeline and improve the serviceability and reliability of the network. Objectives The objective of this RFT is to engage an appropriately qualified and experienced Contractor to reline and renew approximately 1830m of existing sewer mains at six (6) site locations in Moss Vale, Bowral and Mittagong, NSW.
