About this tender
Specialist flood debris clean-up services for NSW Mid North Coast river systems, including debris removal using vessels, waste management, transport, disposal, GIS tracking and reporting Project goals To engage a suitably qualified supplier to deliver timely and safe water-based clean up, drawing on proven delivery models from the EPA’s Hydrographic Surveys (2021–2023) and Shoreline Clean‑up (2021–2025) programs, and operating in line with the NSW Disaster Assistance Guidelines and DRFA requirements to safeguard public safety, protect the environment, and support community recovery. Scope Scope of works to include but not limited to, Equipment and suitably qualified resources to carry out water-based clean-up of identified debris Removal of debris from river or estuary areas and placing in identified temporary waste consolidation locations. Disposal at a Waste Facility - Records of waste disposal including dockets, tonnages and types of waste disposed of at a lawful facility, are to be provided to the EPA Current licenses and insurances to complete the scope of works Temporary storage and lawful management of debris Geospatial mapping and photographing of activities Regular reporting and invoicing Regular supervision and project meetings. The work is delivered continuously until such time as the EPA (in consultation as required with other State and/or local agencies) determine all debris posing a risk has been removed from the impacted waterways.
