Overview Hawkesbury City Council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified companies and individuals to undertake arborist and tree-related works within the Hawkesbury Local Government Area (LGA). Council invites proposals from appropriately experienced contractors interested in being considered for inclusion on the Tree and Arborist Works Program Panel. Purpose Council undertakes a range of tree-related works across the Hawkesbury LGA on land under its care and control. The purpose of this tender is to establish a panel of preferred contractors that Council can engage to deliver arborist and tree services as required throughout the LGA. Scope The scope includes but is not limited to: Providing a 24 hour emergency response service to Council throughout the City Assisting Council staff to complete programmed work as necessary Providing assistance with general works requests as required Tree removal Tree pruning and deadwooding Stump grinding Roadside slashing Independent tree inspection reports Provision of a list of plant and equipment available for the removal of trees and vegetation management, including hourly hire rates for equipment with operators Provision of traffic control when required Contractor Requirements All work is to be undertaken in conjunction with relevant WH&S regulations, policies and procedures All vegetation trimming and removal is to comply with all current editions of Australian Standards, particularly those published by Standards Australia that apply to arboriculture and landscaping All work and accounts are to be managed in a timely manner, with work completed prior to submission of invoices, which are required monthly Provision of cost minimisation initiatives where possible A high level of customer service is to be provided both to Council and onsite when dealing with enquiries from the public Enquiries Contact: Nicole Aldridge Email: procurement@hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au Phone: 0245604470
