Overview HealthShare NSW is inviting submissions from suitably qualified suppliers for the Provision of Pest Control Services across all Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) sites, including regional, rural, and remote facilities. Scope The scope includes: Provision of comprehensive pest management services across all MLHD facilities, including regional, rural, and remote sites Inspection, treatment, prevention, and management of pests across all sites Delivery of a comprehensive preventative and reactive (requested) service arrangement to ensure sites remain clear of pests at all times Provision and maintenance of safe and tamper resistant insect and rodent control systems, including compliance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards in relation to commercial kitchen facilities Controlled and monitored use of chemicals, including pesticides, with records available for inspection by the facility's Nominated Officer and other authorised organisations or personnel Use of pest control products, materials, and processes that are approved for use in healthcare environments, applied in a manner that prevents contamination of sterile or patient care areas, and are environmentally sustainable and non-hazardous to patients, staff, and visitors Contractor Requirements Personnel must be fully trained, qualified, and able to provide a level of service that meets the requirements of the tender documentation All services must be carried out by appropriately qualified and licensed personnel, in accordance with the NSW Pesticides Act 1999, relevant codes of practice, and MLHD policies All pest control activities must be undertaken in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, including AS 3660 Series Termite Management, AS 4349.3 Timber Pest Inspection, AS 2507 for handling chemicals, and HACCP Australian Pest Management Compliance with Infection Prevention and Control in Healthcare Settings requirements Compliance with MLHD Work Health and Safety Policy and Contractor Management requirements Compliance with NSW Health policies and guidelines relating to Infection Prevention and Control and Environmental Services Compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation and environmental protection regulations Compliance with the Poisons and Pesticides Regulation 2017 (NSW) and relevant EPA licensing requirements Instructions to Tenderers Please see the attached files in the link provided for more information.
