Overview Richmond Valley Council is inviting tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced providers of tree maintenance and roadside vegetation management services. Contracts will be offered to successful tenderers for the provision of the required services for an initial period of three years, with two 12 month extensions available to be optioned at Council's discretion. Scope The Tender Specification indicates Council's expectation of successful tenderers to provide tree maintenance and roadside vegetation management services for up to five years. The scope of works is divided into the following parts and separable portions: Part A: Tree Maintenance Services Separable Portion A: Crown Maintenance Separable Portion B: Tree Removal Separable Portion C: Fallen Tree Removal Separable Portion D: Fallen Branch Removal Separable Portion E: Stump Grinding Separable Portion F: Root Pruning Separable Portion G: Chipping Crew Unit Part B: Roadside Vegetation Management Separable Portion H: Slashing Separable Portion I: Spraying, Boom Separable Portion J: Spraying, Handheld Part C: Traffic Control Separable Portion K: Traffic Control Contract Terms and Conditions Initial contract period of 3 years Two 12 month extension options, available at Council's discretion Instructions to Tenderers To enable tenders to be fully assessed, Council requires responses to all the selection criteria for those services being tendered for.
