A requirement exists to appoint N.A.T.A. registered laboratories, to provide soil and water quality sampling, laboratory analysis and reporting services to Council. Council conducts regular water quality monitoring programs and are also required to test water quality during day-to-day operations on an as needs basis. Council also undertakes soil sampling to assist Council Operations and Project Delivery Teams. The various water quality testing requirements conducted by Council during the year may include, but are not limited to the following projects: Strategic Water Monitoring Program (SWMP) Stormwater Quality Improvement Device (SQIDs) monitoring Recreational Monitoring Program Receiving Water Monitoring Program The Ridge Irrigation Monitoring Program Miscellaneous analysis Successful Tenderers will form a panel of preferred suppliers, with selected works and projects subject to a further competitive quotation process However, as the works are primarily “project based” and on an “as needed” basis, Council provides no guarantees as to the volume of business that is on offer for any of the tendered services during the contract period. Successful tenderers will be invited to register with Vendor Panel, an online quoting system used for sending and receiving quotes, assessment and evaluation of responses and notification of successful / unsuccessful bids.
