Construction of Yuendumu Welcome Archway

Overview Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) is undertaking the construction of the new Yuendumu Welcome Archway. The works are to be completed in accordance with the final certified construction drawings and specifications. Scope The scope of works includes but is not limited to the following: Preparation and implementation of an Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and Traffic Management Plan (TMP) Provision of temporary traffic management as required during the works Site establishment, set out, and earthworks including excavation for foundations Construction of reinforced concrete foundations and plinths in accordance with the design drawings Masonry works including stone facing of plinths using sandstone sourced from the Yuendumu quarry in accordance with the design drawings (refer Annexure for quarry location details) Fabrication, supply, and erection of the structural steel archway frame in accordance with the design drawings Fabrication, supply, and installation of laser-cut steel plate lettering, bird images, and steel sheet components as detailed in the drawings Erection and installation of all archway components All ancillary and associated works required for completion of the project in accordance with the drawings and specifications Provision of Builders Declaration and any other required completion documentation (S40 Certificate is available)
