About this tender
Council owns and maintains a three waters infrastructure network in the district that supplies water, wastewater, and stormwater services to connected properties. Broadly, the scope of work includes the operations and maintenance of Council water, wastewater, and stormwater networks and the maintenance of selected facilities including the water treatment plants and wastewater treatment plants. The scope includes a 365/7/24 response to network issues. Council intends to include $3 million of capital and renewal projects (within each full financial year) in the scope of work. The estimated value of the Contract is approximately $7.6 million per annum, including the $3 million of capital and renewal projects. In addition, the Contractor has the opportunity to competitively tender for additional work from Council’s capital works and renewals programme that is approximately $15 million per annum in total. An initial contract term of seven years with a right of renewal, subject to performance, of a further three years (maximum contract term ten years) is proposed.
