Ministry of Business, Innovation and Business (MBIE) are looking for suitably qualified and experienced single national cleaning management provider to oversee all cleaning services across the MBIE estate. This includes managing designated subcontractors and sourcing additional subcontractors where needed. A core component of the requirement is strong account management, with the provider responsible for the overall quality and delivery of cleaning services. In addition, we will be procuring providers to provide cleaning services for each office location, grouped logically by region or site characteristics. These services will be sourced through this RFP, with the resulting service delivery arrangements to be managed through subcontractor relationships under the national cleaning management provider. A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
