ICT Application Testing Services Panel - Notice of Tender
Tender Overview
About this tender
This is a Future Procurement Opportunity (FPO). A FPO is an alert to suppliers of a potential upcoming procurement activity, though does not represent a commitment by MPI to procure, however provides an indication to the market about the potential future activity. Suppliers can subscribe to this FPO, and MPI may use this list to assist with market research. When the RFP is released, the FPO will be linked to the RFP so that those suppliers who have subscribed to the FPO will get automatically notified of the RFP being released. The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) is to source a panel of suppliers to supply ICT Application Testing Services on an as-needed basis where MPI has limited or no internal capability or capacity to support delivery of our IT projects. MPI is looking for suppliers who have the capability, experience and services to deliver ICT Testing services and have a good track record in providing these services. We are looking for ICT Testing services and not individual IT personnel or contractors. You have a strong and highly respected reputation for delivering quality ICT Application Testing services in the IT market and have highly skilled and experienced ICT Testing resources based in New Zealand or Wellington. How to respond to this tender
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Read the requirements in full
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Confirm you are eligible and it is worth bidding
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Answer every criterion with evidence
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Lodge early through the official portal
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
