IT Managed Services
Tender Overview
About this tender
Overview This RFP relates to the purchase of comprehensive IT services as set out in the attached Proposed Contract for IT Managed Services. Objectives The key outcomes RDC wants to achieve are: Reliable BAU IT managed services and service desk delivery where customer requests are resolved effectively and in a timely manner Proactive monitoring using the latest solutions to ensure RDC's cyber security risk and compliance requirements are effectively managed and systems are operating efficiently Proactive resolution of identified issues with appropriate approval from RDC Strategic advice and guidance provided to the IS Governance Group (ISGG) with input into the IT Roadmap Project management and other resource support to implement actions outlined in the IT Roadmap Scope Provision of comprehensive IT managed services as set out in the attached Proposed Contract Contract Terms and Conditions The Proposed Contract term is shorter than typical long-term IT managed services contract terms. This reflects the current uncertainty associated with potential local government amalgamations that are being discussed and canvassed. RDC considers that a shorter initial term, with extension options, provides appropriate flexibility while still supporting continuity of service, transition planning and value-for-money outcomes. How to respond to this tender
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Read the requirements in full
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Confirm you are eligible and it is worth bidding
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Answer every criterion with evidence
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Lodge early through the official portal
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
