About this tender
Overview Gisborne District Council owns and maintains land drainage, rivers and coastal assets in the district that contribute to the protection of land, buildings, people and infrastructure from flooding and erosion. The Council is seeking a contractor to deliver the Land Drainage, Rivers & Coastal Maintenance Contract. Scope The scope of work for this contract is outlined in the Specifications and broadly includes: Spraying Mowing Excavation Vegetation removal Willow planting and management Culvert jetting Inspection and maintenance of dam, stopbank and pump station assets Pre and post flood inspections of infrastructure Contract Terms and Conditions Estimated contract value: Approximately $1.5 million per annum Initial contract term: Seven years Renewal option: A right of renewal, subject to performance, of a further three years (maximum contract term of ten years) Contract commencement: 1 July 2027 Mobilisation: A generous mobilisation period has been allowed for in the tender programme Site Inspection Respondents are required to register for a Respondent Site Visit.
