About this tender

Overview Gisborne District Council is seeking a contractor to deliver a Land Drainage, Rivers and Coastal Maintenance Contract for assets owned and maintained by the Council within the district. About Council owns and maintains land drainage, rivers and coastal assets in the district that contribute to the protection of land, buildings, people and infrastructure from flooding and erosion. Scope The scope of work for this contract is outlined in the Notice of Intent and broadly includes: Spraying Mowing Excavation Vegetation removal Willow planting and management Culvert jetting Inspection and maintenance of dam, stopbank and pump station assets Pre and post flood inspections of infrastructure Contract Terms and Conditions The contract is all encompassing and includes a 365/7/24 response to network issues The estimated value of the Contract is approximately $1.5 million per annum An initial contract term of seven years is proposed, with a right of renewal, subject to performance, of a further three years (maximum contract term ten years) Instructions to Tenderers No further information will be provided ahead of the release of the Request for Proposal.
