About this tender
Overview Auckland Council is seeking to establish a list of pre-qualified suppliers for Pond and Wetland Renewals and Stream and Outfall Renewals physical works. About Auckland Council manages a significant portfolio of projects including stormwater ponds, wetlands, stream remediation works and outfall renewals that require ongoing renewal and major maintenance to ensure they continue to operate effectively and provide the intended levels of service. Currently, more than 50 ponds have been identified as requiring works, including desilting and other renewal-related activities, and also an ongoing stream and outfalls program. Purpose Through this procurement, Auckland Council is seeking to establish a list of pre-qualified suppliers to be invited to undertake construction works. Scope The scope includes construction works under the following categories: Ponds and Wetlands renewals Stream and Outfalls remediation (including fish passage) Contractor Requirements Suppliers must demonstrate the required level of capability, capacity, experience, and value through the evaluation process Inclusion on the Preferred Supplier List will be based on achieving the required evaluation standard rather than a predetermined number of appointments A maximum of 8 suppliers will be selected under each category, with the final configuration of small and larger suppliers depending on the kind of suppliers who respond to the REOI and the quality of responses received Instructions to Tenderers Please access the REOI document for full details of Auckland Council's requirements. If interested, submit your Expression of Interest using the Response forms provided, by 4 p.m. on 30th September 2026. A separate Response form needs to be submitted if you are submitting an Expression of Interest for both categories noted above.
