Overview Napier City Council (NCC) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to deliver sports field improvement works and associated specialist services across a range of Council-owned sportsgrounds. Purpose The programme forms part of Council's Sports Field Improvement Plan over the next 4 years and aims to enhance the performance, resilience, and availability of sports fields, improve field playability, extend asset life, reduce long-term maintenance costs, and support the provision of quality sporting facilities for the Napier community. Scope The scope includes: Sports field improvement works across a range of Council-owned sportsgrounds Irrigation upgrades Drainage upgrades Resurfacing works Levelling works Specialist turf management services Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced in delivering sports field improvement works and specialist services Demonstrated expertise in sports turf science and infrastructure works Capable of delivering high-quality, cost-effective outcomes Instructions to Tenderers Respondents must submit their tender response using the templates provided within the Request for Tender (RFT) documentation. All communications regarding this procurement, including requests for clarification and questions relating to the RFT, must be submitted through the Question and Answer (Q&A) function by 5:00 pm on 3 August 2026.
