About this tender

Overview Health New Zealand – Northland District (the Principal) is seeking to appoint a Panel of suitably qualified and experienced suppliers of Glazing Projects and Maintenance Services (the Services) to meet its Planned Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, and Project requirements. About The Principal consists of Northland hospital campuses and community facilities, comprising: Whangarei, its hospital campus and community facilities Bay of Islands, its hospital campus and community facilities Dargaville, its hospital campus and community facilities Kaitaia, its hospital campus and community facilities The Principal owns and operates facilities associated with delivering health and disability services and is responsible for the repair and maintenance of these facilities. These hospital campuses and community facilities are operational 24/7, so shutdowns of services (both utilities and clinical) need to be carefully planned and considered to minimise impacts on patients and staff. Scope The scope includes: Provision of glazing project services across Northland hospital campuses and community facilities Provision of planned preventative maintenance for glazing Provision of reactive maintenance for glazing Refer to the RFP documentation for further details. Contractor Requirements Suppliers must have a presence, including personnel and equipment, based in Northland Suppliers must be able to self-deliver the Services The Principal seeks to avoid additional costs and delay from using suppliers based outside their district. Instructions to Tenderers The Principal is undertaking this procurement on behalf of all Northland hospitals and their community facilities. A Supplier must successfully proceed through all procurement phases and subsequent contract negotiations to become a panel member. Only suppliers on the panel will be able to provide in-scope services to the Northland hospitals.
