About this tender
Overview Queenstown-Lakes District Council (QLDC) is seeking a contractor to deliver the chipseal, asphalt, and micro surfacing components of the QLDC Forward Works Programme for the 2026-27 financial year. Scope This procurement covers chipseal (110,000m2), asphalt (28,000m2), and micro surfacing (12,000m2) works. It also includes one structural asphalt site (3,000m2) on Fernhill Road, which has been included in this contract for efficiencies of delivery and scale of the combined asphalt work. The scope of the work is described in the attached tender documents, including the Specifications. Key components include: Site assessment and treatment design Texturising or pre-levelling of the existing surface where required Supply of materials, plant and labour to construct various types of surfacing including (but not limited to) chipseal, asphalt, slurry and cape seal Sweeping and pavement marking with reflectorised paint Supply of information for RAMM inventory updating Supply of texture measurements and chip retention results prior to the end of the Defects Notification period Raising of service lids Milling of existing surfaces and pavements Supply of materials, plant and labour to construct full depth AC pavement (Fernhill Road) Enquiries Contact: Procurement Administrator Email: sapprocurement@qldc.govt.nz
