RFT - Civil Works Contractor for Site - Drainage at Ōtaki College, Ōtaki, Kāpiti Coast

Overview The Ministry of Education (NZ) is seeking a civil works contractor to carry out site drainage works at Ōtaki College, Ōtaki, Kāpiti Coast. Purpose Aging and inefficient stormwater drainage infrastructure across the site is regularly struggling to cope with water disposal in periods of heavy rainfall. A specialist civil engineer has investigated the site and developed a detailed scope of work to address this. Scope The scope includes: Replacement of sumps Replacement of underground pipework Introduction of new soak pits Upgrading of existing manholes General improvement of surface water capture and disposal Targeted renewal of concrete pavements and roadways, to be priced separately but delivered in conjunction with the drainage improvements Instructions to Tenderers The project approval application will be presented across the two NZSPA projects.
